Pennycuick Announces Grants Rewarded for Two Projects in Montgomery County

HARRISBURG – Sen. Tracy Pennycuick (R-Montgomery/Berks) announced today that two projects in Montgomery County were awarded grants through Act 13. The two projects that will be receiving funding are:

The Pollock Park Redevelopment Project in Pottstown Borough has been awarded $75,000 to assist with on-site remediation efforts which will allow the park to reopen after several years of being shut down.

The Highland-Huber Park Project in Perkiomen Township will be receiving $250,000 to construct improvements to the park which include ADA accessible trails, a new playground, and a community garden.

“Recreational spaces are a crucial component in building strong communities,” said Pennycuick. “This funding will ensure that residents of the 24th Senate District will continue to have shared spaces where they can enjoy Pennsylvania’s natural beauty.”
