ALLENTOWN – Members of the Senate Communications and Technology Committee, chaired by Sen. Tracy Pennycuick (R-24), and the Senate Community, Economic and Recreational Development Committee, chaired by Sen. Chris Gebhard (R-48), and others will discuss Pennsylvania semiconductor production and workforce pipeline at a Lehigh Valley event this week.
The gathering will be held Thursday, Feb. 8, from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Infinera Corporation, 7360 Windsor Drive in Allentown.
The event will include a tour of the facility as well as a roundtable discussion of workforce development, career and education opportunities, and the expansion of advanced manufacturing.
