
HARRISBURG – Sen. Tracy Pennycuick (R-24) and Rep. Milou Mackenzie (R-131) presented Upper Hanover Township with a PennDOT ARLE grant totaling $485,600 that will significantly improve local traffic infrastructure.
The grant will fund the complete modernization of traffic signals and minor widening at the intersection of Route 663 and Schoolhouse Road/Montgomery Avenue.
“Upgrading our transportation infrastructure is crucial to ensuring the safety of every driver, pedestrian, and business in our community,” said Sen. Pennycuick. “This grant will bring vital improvements to Upper Hanover, and I’m excited to see the positive impact these upgrades will have.”
“It is always gratifying to see Pennsylvania tax dollars returning to our legislative districts for improvements to our roadways,” said Rep. Mackenzie. “The money awarded to Upper Hanover Township for this project will help traffic move more harmoniously through our area and increase safety for our residents.”
