HARRISBURG – Sen. Tracy Pennycuick (R-24) invites area residents to attend her upcoming $camJam event on Friday, June 13, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the TriCounty Active Adult Center, located at 288 Moser Road, Pottstown, PA 19464.
The event is designed to help individuals, particularly seniors, learn how to protect themselves from fraud, identity theft, and financial scams. Attendees will hear directly from experts representing the Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities, the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, the Pottstown Police Department, the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, and AARP.
“Scammers are getting smarter, and it’s more important than ever that our community knows how to recognize and avoid these threats,” said Senator Pennycuick. “Our Scam Jam brings together a team of professionals dedicated to protecting Pennsylvanians and providing the tools and knowledge to stay safe.”
This free event is open to the public and will include presentations, printed resources, and time for questions and answers with each of the participating agencies.
