Honoring Our Fallen Heroes

Monday, May 15th is Peace Officers Memorial Day.  It is a day to pay tribute to local, state, and federal peace officers who have died in the line of duty.  The event is sponsored by the national Fraternal Order of Police (FOP).  On this day, people from across the county will gather in Washington DC to honor those lost in the line of duty during 2022.

On Monday, May 8th, 2023, we gathered to honor our fallen heroes from across our Commonwealth during the Pennsylvania State FOP 28th Annual Memorial Service in the State Capitol Rotunda.

This year we honored:

Trooper Branden T. Sisca – PA State Police – EOW 3/21/2022

Trooper Martin F. Mack, III – PA State Police – EOW 3/21/2022

Lt. William D. Lebo – Lebanon City Police Dept – EOW 3/31/2022

Officer Stephen Charles Plum – Warrington Township Police Department – EOW 5/16/2022

Cpl. Chad Beattie – Washington County Sheriff’s Dept – EOW 8/10/2022

Family members of each officer were present to receive the Pennsylvania Medal of Ultimate Sacrifice from the PA State FOP and the Office of the Governor of Pennsylvania.  We must never forget or diminish the sacrifices of those who gave everything.
