Women Veterans Day Commemoration

As a Pennsylvania State Senator and a United States Army Combat Veteran, I am committed to ensuring that my colleagues—and all Pennsylvanians—recognize the vital role women have played and continue to play in our nation’s military. I was proud to sponsor the legislation that designated June 12 as Women Veterans Day in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, which was signed into law in 2022.

Because of this, on June 10 at 10:00 AM in Soldiers’ Grove at the Pennsylvania State Capitol, we will commemorate Women Veterans Day and honor the service, sacrifice, and achievements of women who have served our nation in uniform.

In recognition of this important day, a virtual display highlighting the stories and experiences of Pennsylvania women veterans will be available online at www.senatorpennycuick.com beginning June 8, 2026.

Women Veterans Day serves as an opportunity to recognize the generations of women who have answered the call to serve and whose contributions have strengthened our military and our Commonwealth.
