
HARRISBURG – Sen. Tracy Pennycuick (R-24) is pleased to announce a free electronic recycling event for local residents on Saturday, August 16, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Perkiomen Valley High School, located at 509 Gravel Pike in Collegeville. The event will be held in the school’s student parking lot and is open to individuals only; business participation is not permitted.
Residents will have the opportunity to responsibly dispose of old and unwanted electronic devices at no cost. Accepted items include computers, laptops, tablets, keyboards, mice, speakers, telephones, televisions, printers, scanners, fax machines, and flat screen monitors. Items that will not be accepted include smoke detectors, microwaves, refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, light bulbs, and lamps, etc.
“This event is a great opportunity to clear out unused electronics while protecting our environment through proper disposal,” said Senator Pennycuick. “I’m proud to offer this free service to our community and encourage residents to take advantage of it.”
